Description
Our shortest trek, allowing you to reach stunning dunes on a journey spanning a few days. A getaway suitable for everyone, perfect for a first encounter with the Sahara. Guided tour in the desert with a caravan of camels and a nomadic team, brought to you by Osez Le Désert Du Maroc.

Itinerary
Departure in the morning from Marrakech, Agadir, or Ouarzazate to reach the village of M'hamid, at the gates of the desert (transportation by private vehicle from Osez Le Désert Du Maroc). A possible stop in an Atlas village, visit to Ait Ben Haddou near Ouarzazate (a Ksar classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site). In the evening, overnight stay with a local host in the village or in a comfortable fixed bivouac in the heart of the palm grove.
Departure on foot from the fixed bivouac, accompanied by the Osez Le Désert Du Maroc team and the camel caravan. In the morning, a hike in the Sahara Desert heading towards the M'hamid Palmeraie. Tea and lunch are taken in the shade of a Tamarisk. After a rest, we set out for the sanctuary of Sidi Naji. Oral tradition reports that this marabout lived 18 generations ago! A place filled with history and local customs. In the evening, the bivouac is set up at the foot of the sand dunes. Night in the desert under a tent or under the stars.
At the pace of the sun, the bivouac folds. Departure through the dunes and then a vast dried-up lake to reach the magnificent dunes of Erg Zahar (known as "howling dunes"). Night in the Sahara Desert under a tent or under the stars.
Return to M'hamid and then Marrakech, Agadir, and Ouarzazate in the late evening. After breakfast, we meet the 4X4 that awaits us a little further. We head towards the fixed bivouac, through the magnificent landscapes of the Draa Valley. Lunch at the fixed bivouac, then return to Ouarzazate, Agadir, and Marrakech.
